Bellamy Homes: Building with Heart and Purpose

At Bellamy Homes, supporting our community is woven into the fabric of who we are. We strive to back as many causes as possible, but our hearts have a special place for our local community. Here are just a few of the ways we give back:

Bellamy Cares: Giving Back with Every Home

  • For every new client we work with, we donate $250 to a charity of their choice, helping to support causes that are important to them.

Community Engagement:

  • Okanagan Humane Society: As proud title sponsor of the annual Tails of Hope Gala, we are honoured to support life-changing work for animals in our community, with the 2025 event raising over $180K for animals in need. In addition to sponsorship, we frequently donate, volunteer, and participate in OHS initiatives throughout the year to help support vulnerable animals across the Okanagan.
  • Okanagan Food Bank: We donate and volunteer regularly at the Okanagan Food Bank, helping to support those in need.
  • Elizabeth Fry Society: Bellamy Homes participates in the Holiday Hamper Program and donates to initiatives supporting vulnerable individuals.
  • Local Baseball Team Sponsorship: We proudly sponsor a local baseball team, supporting youth sports and community involvement.
  • Habitat for Humanity: We donate all salvageable building materials and fixtures from our renovation projects, volunteer at fundraising events, and contribute through charitable donations.

Sponsorships & Partnerships:

  • Okanagan College Foundation: We donated $30,000 towards the building of their new Trades Training Complex at the Kelowna campus, supporting the next generation of trades professionals.
  • Comedy for Cause: We sponsor a comedy night every month to support various causes within the community.
  • GonzoFest: We’re proud to be the title sponsor of GonzoFest, raising funds for underprivileged children to access music lessons and expand musically.
  • Okanagan Charity Classic Golf Tournament: As a presenting sponsor, we help raise funds for underprivileged kids to play in organized sports, the Kelowna Hospital Foundation, and the Canucks Autism Network for Kids.

Community Outreach & Support:

  • Hospital Activity Book for Make-A-Wish Foundation: We support the Hospital Activity Book for children through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, helping to bring joy to kids in need.
  • Fight for Kids Program: Bellamy Homes supports the Fight for Kids program at Madkatz Boxing Club, providing opportunities for youth to develop life skills through boxing.
  • Do Some Good & Good Companies Program: As a founding member of Do Some Good, we actively participate in their Good Companies program, working with other local businesses to make a positive impact.
  • Kelowna Women in Trades: We offer site tours of Bellamy Homes projects to the Kelowna Women in Trades program, encouraging women to explore careers in construction.

Annual Participation:

  • Ride to Reach: We proudly participate in the Ride to Reach, raising money for various local charities and making a difference in our community.
